We invite all photographers and creative individuals to participate in the photo contest “Blue + White”!
Blue is the color of depth, silence, contemplation, loyalty, and eternity. It lives in the hues of the sea, in twilight, in the cool light of dawn, in eyes full of questions.
White is the color of purity, light, beginnings, space, and a different kind of silence—one born from emptiness, snow, radiance, and the pause between words.
Their combination is more than just the aesthetics of ice and sky, more than maritime freshness or Scandinavian minimalism. It’s a dialogue between silence and sound, darkness and light, presence and absence. Sometimes they support each other in fragile clarity; sometimes they highlight the solitude of one color in the presence of the other. Always, they create an atmosphere imbued with restrained poetry.
We are looking for photographs where blue and white do not merely coexist but meaningfully interact—visually, emotionally, symbolically. Let them tell a wordless story, convey a sense of cold or warmth, reveal the beauty of minimalism, or expose the drama of contrast.
Accepted:
- Photographs in which blue and white meaningfully “interact”—creating harmony, contrast, mood, metaphor, nostalgia, or a fresh interpretation of the familiar.
- All genres are welcome: street photography, portrait, still life, abstraction, landscape, documentary, and more.
Not accepted:
- Images in which the specified colors were not present in the original scene and were added or drastically intensified solely through digital editing: Photoshop, AI tools, filters, selective color grading, etc.
- Photographs featuring only one of the two colors. Both blue and white must be visibly present in the image.
